Prints & Pints at Birdhouse Brewing

Wednesday, April 16th. 6-8pm

The Cheshire Union and Birdhouse Brewing are teaming up for a remote art class combining printmaking and craft beer! Join us for this fun class at Birdhouse Brewing in Honeoye.

Madeline will show participants how to use watercolors to create vibrant handmade prints on a vintage etching press. Bring your own imagination, photos or reference material (a partner to model for you perhaps?!) or work from references provided by the instructor. This class is open to any and all skill levels! We will be working on a semi-clear surface, meaning you can simply trace your reference, if you wish. Our print size will be a max of 8x10" with the opportunity to make more than one if you work fast. :)

Cost of the class is $45:  includes all art supplies and an $8 drink voucher! For ages 21+ only.

The Painterly Print

Wednesday, April 30th. 6-8pm

Learn about the world of monotypes (aka "the painterly print"), in this beginner friendly printmaking class! Madeline will lead students through her process of creating a black and white landscape. Feel free to follow along step by step or bring in your own image to work from. We will use our old school etching press to create our prints! 

Cost of the workshop is $45 and includes all supplies. This workshop is best suited for teens and adults.
